China equiped CH-3 UAV indicates the new tactic of striking aircraft carrier
According to Malaysia, “Kuala Lumpur Security Review”, through the platform of the Brunei International Defense Exhibition 2009 (BRIDEX 2009) at the first time in Southeast Asian countries, China promoted CH-3 unmanned strike aircraft to Southeast Asian countries.
Glad to see such a message, I think it shows two:
First, it means a new level of the development of China’s unmanned aerial vehicles;
Second, there will still many good cards to show after CH-3 and AR-1.
Of course, only one UAV can striking tank does not deserve special joy. Through the surface of the article, I feel a new kind of tactics of striking aircraft carrier tactics are taking shape, that’s UAV striking aircraft carrier.
Let’s discuss the possibility of this process:
Stealth UAV rush towards goals 600 kilometers per hour;
Once or twice amendment after a mid-course;
Arrive over the target area and do circular flight which one’s radius gradually increases;
Airborne actively radar lock;
Transmitte parameters to the missile;
Projection missiles;
Go back, once or twice amendment again after another mid-course;
I feel that the above model is completely workable.

I think your overly optimistic if think a UAV or anything airborne has the slightest chance of penetrating a carriers’ escort screen. Even if it did, the carrier itself would turn anything, regardless of speed or number of units into swiss cheese. I know. I’ve been there.
The above statement, about invulnerability of USA’s aircraft carriers, is a hogwash and pure propaganda. Aircraft carriers are no more anything else but floating cemeteries!
