Indian Navy “Sea Harrier” fighter aircraft crashed, the pilot killed

Mumbai, August 21, a “Sea Harrier” fighter aircraft of Indian Navy suddenly crashed  flighting over the western coastal areas in India,which was on a routine exercise mission, the pilot died.

According to Indo-Asian News Service reported that an Indian Navy officer said that around 10:00 the same day, the plane “Sea Harrier” fighter from the western coastal region of Goa, Panaji airport launched a routine training flight. But the fighters in the air soon over the waters in near Goa  crashed.

“Sea Harrier” fighter is the main fighter aircraft Indian Navy deployed, the early 80s in the last century, bought from the United Kingdoms. The fighter aircrafts  were mainly deployed on Indian only active service Aircraft “Viraat”, as well as coastal area Some of the airport.
